About Me: Well that’s it! I have now turned 50!

Don’t they say life begins at 50?

Oh... Life begins at FORTY.... Well that’s me all over! Either I am ahead of time or just a little late....

Well I’m going to start mine at 50!

In the last half a century, I did my bit: Married, birth, divorce, etc, etc....

Now I want to do different things.... You know the sort of things you do in your gap year at uni... But I did not go to uni, so I did not get to do those things.....

I am at present working and living in Spain, I got fed up the wet old England....
I needed a change.

The reason that Spain was the county of my choice, is because I want to go to South America, my father was born there and I would like to find his roots (Not literally though) and to meet my great aunt, who is still alive.

I feel that I would prefer to go, knowing something of the language, so coming to Spain, to learn Spanish seemed be the obvious solution. I also needed the safety net of knowing that I was not far from England, my family and my friends.... As travelling alone is a big step! I was alone, but I do hope not to be in the future.

I have not decided yet whether, I shall just visit for a few months or I might work out there for a while. I think that depends on you....

What would you like to know about me? I had thought about writing all that stuff that other singletons write: I am happy go lucky: I am the life and soul of every party.... You know that sort of thing, as I am sure that you have read it many times before.... But that is not how I am, I want to create something that will take your interest and make you want to know more.

Yes! I can be a social butterfly: I love flirting: I can be suitably embarrassed, when the front door closes and locks me out, for the umpteenth time!

I can laugh when the part of the train that I should be on is pulling out of the station and I am sitting in the section that is going the opposite direction....

It is all the fun and games called life, the only sad bit is that there is no one there with me to laugh as well.... Would you make sure that we were on the correct part of the train? It is all part of the fun!

About Who I'd Like To Meet: What am I looking for?

Well lets get the facts right - I am a woman looking for a man!
But no ordinary man.... The one I am looking for needs the following attributes:

Tall - well tall-ish as I am 5’8” without shoes.
Strong and manly on the outside, with a sort of soft-ish centre.
He needs to be tactile and affectionate, a touchy feely sort of person.

But also capable, I can unblock the sink when I need to, but it is much more fun to be a helpless damsel in distress..... Oh and I can cope with spiders in the bath, so it is ok if you can’t...

He needs to have strong arms and a warm heart.
A good and cheery laugh, but also a mischievous smile.
Broad shoulders and a balanced outlook on life.
Touch of the unpredictable, with a pinch of faerie dust.

He also needs to have poor eyesight, so that he will call me beautiful.
Poor hearing, so that he may think my words are like pearls of wisdom.
